Frequently Asked Questions

Where are services available?

We are able to serve most states over telehealth.

Do you take Medicaid or private insurance?

You may be able to use Medicaid or private insurance for 1:1 Parent Coaching. This is NOT available for educational consulting or IEP advocacy. This is dependent on your child’s primary diagnosis, your location and your insurance policy. We will work with you and your insurance company to find the fairest, most affordable option for your family. You may be responsible for co-pays depending on your plan.

We are currently in-network with: Aetna, Optum Medicaid (MD), Cigna/Evernorth, and BlueCross BlueShield CareFirst.

What language(s) is this available in?

We can provide services in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.

1:1 Parent Coaching

These are one-on-one meetings where we focus on your current needs and work together to problem solve. These can involve brainstorming, learning about ABA, role-playing, skill-building activities and more. We know you are busy, so these are designed to be flexible with your schedule.

We often utilize the Balance program, an evidence-based, parent-implemented approach to preventing the development of severe problem behavior in children. Rather than tip-toeing around your child on alert for meltdowns all the time, the Balance Program helps you to develop a healthy balanced relationship with your child in which sometimes they follow the adult’s lead and sometimes you learn to follow the child’s lead.

Educational Consulting

Are you wondering about your child’s IEP? Not sure what’s going on in school? Just need a second pair of eyes on the document the school gave you? We can help explain and evaluate your existing program, as well as make recommendations for meaningful goals and services. We can support you in preparing for your meeting and then attend it with you. We work with your child’s teachers and school staff collaboratively to best support your child.

This is NOT covered by insurance or Medicaid plans.
