About Us
Who We Are
Signs of Communication, LLC was founded in February 2022 in response to the lack of accessible behavior analytic options available for the Deaf community. We provide in person services in the Washington D.C. metro area (including Maryland and Virginia) and remotely via telehealth. In addition to 1:1 ABA services, we also offer expert client consultation services for behavior analysts and other professionals and a resource library membership. Our mission is to empower deaf and hard of hearing individuals to lead rich, fulfilling lives by providing accessible, neurodiversity-affirming behavior analytic services.

My name is Jacqueline Wunderlich and I am originally from Canton, Michigan. I graduated from Gallaudet University in 2017 with a bachelor’s in Psychology and earned my master’s degree in Special Education at Ball State University in 2020. I am hard of hearing and have always had a foot in both the hearing and deaf worlds— and was shocked to find the lack of accessible services in the behavioral field.
Since then, I’ve made it my mission to bridge this gap and provide accessible ABA services. I am a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Maryland. In my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy and romance novels, attempting to make arts and crafts, watching sitcoms, and hanging out with my dog (Bonsai) and hedgehog (Dandelion).
